Working in the ER during the COVID-19 pandemic, she witnessed firsthand the struggles of homeless patients and those with severe mental health conditions. The gratitude expressed by these individuals for simple acts of kindness made her realize the profound impact of genuine care. This realization, coupled with the support of inspiring women she met during her travel nursing career, led to the creation of Saved by the Well.
